Hello, reader friends. I should have done this several months ago, but as any regular reader would have learned by now, I have had to take a bit of a hiatus from writing on my blog. Another major writing project has preoccupied me, one that has something of a deadline attached to it. So I beg your patience. I WILL come back to this, in fact, am really looking forward to it! I continue to see many things in God's creation that inspire and enthuse me.
Hmmm... Enthuse. That's an interesting word in relation to this blog. A good word. Even an appropriate word. Did you know the etymology of the word enthuse, and its cognates enthused and enthusiasm? Our English word is from the Greek entheos, which literally means 'in God,' or 'filled with God.' Creation is filled with God. How can it not be, as its Artist? It's why I write.
If you'd like to do some reading, feel free to search the blog archive in the right column below. There are over 250 essays going back to 2013. You could also hit the index tab above; unfortunately, though, I only ended up indexing my first three and a half years of posts. Still, there is a lot there on a myriad of subjects you might find of interest.
Back soon...
